The Company may refuse accommodation in the following cases:

  1. (1) When the application for accommodation does not conform to these Terms.
  2. (2) When no rooms are available because the Facility is fully booked.
  3. (3) When the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to act in violation of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the stay.

  2. (2) The date(s) of stay and the expected time of arrival;
  3. (3) Any other information deemed necessary by the Facility.

If a guest requests to extend the stay beyond the dates originally applied for, such request shall be handled as a new application for accommodation at the time the request is made, the Company accepts it, and the accommodation charges are paid in advance, and only if there is no other reservation at the Facility for the extended period.

Article 4 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)

An accommodation contract shall be concluded when the Company accepts an application for an accommodation contract made by the guest in person.

When an accommodation contract has been concluded, the guest shall pay, by the date designated by the Company, a deposit determined by the Company, up to the amount of the basic accommodation charge for the period of stay (or for three days if the stay exceeds three days).

The deposit shall first be applied to the accommodation charges ultimately payable by the guest. If the contract is cancelled by the guest, or if the Company suffers damage due to the guest's intentional act or negligence, the deposit shall be applied first to the cancellation charge and then to compensation for damages, and any remaining balance shall be refunded at the time of payment of the accommodation charges.

If the deposit is not paid by the date designated by the Company, the accommodation contract shall lose its effect; provided, however, that this applies only where the Company has notified the guest to that effect when designating the payment due date.

The deadline for reservation applications is 12:00 noon on the day before the scheduled date of stay; provided, however, that this does not apply to reservations made online.

Article 5 (Cancellation Charges)

When the applicant for a reservation cancels all or part of the reservation (including meals, ingredients, services, and goods reserved in advance), the Company shall charge a cancellation fee as follows:

  1. (1) In principle, no refund will be given for cancellation of accommodation for the guest's own reasons after the reservation has been confirmed.
However, meals, ingredients, services, goods, and the like reserved in advance shall be subject to their respective cancellation policies.
These charges are separate from the accommodation charges and shall be paid after payment of the accommodation charges.
  2. (2) If the guest does not arrive by 8:00 p.m. on the date of stay without contacting the Facility, or if there is no contact more than two hours after the expected time of arrival (up to 8:00 p.m.), the reservation may be deemed to have been cancelled by the applicant and handled accordingly.
  3. (3) If the number of nights reserved is shortened, the cancellation charge shall be calculated at the applicable rate based on one night (the first night), regardless of the number of nights shortened.
  4. (4) Where a reservation has been deemed cancelled, if it is proven that the guest's failure to arrive without contacting the Facility was due to the non-arrival or delay of trains, aircraft, or other public transportation, or any other reason not attributable to the guest, the cancellation charge under (1) shall not be charged; provided, however, that this applies only if the guest contacts the Facility by 8:00 p.m. on the check-in date.

If the Company is unable to provide the contracted services, it shall, to the extent possible, arrange for another of its accommodation facilities under the same conditions.
If the Company is unable to arrange another accommodation facility, it shall pay the guest compensation equivalent to the cancellation charge, and such compensation shall be applied to any damages; provided, however, that this shall not apply if the inability to provide the room is not attributable to the Company.

The Company shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to articles, cash, or valuables brought into the Facility by guests.
